Ryan N. Comfort, Ph.D

Ryan is a citizen of the Keweenaw Bay Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe and an Assistant Professor at Indiana University. He's produced or helped produce multimedia projects about the history, culture, and sovereignty of Native Nations for more than 15 years, including the award winning TheWays.org and Portraits of the Boundary. His current research agenda takes a social science approach to understanding how Native Nations might communicate more effectively about their environmental and natural resource issues.
